I am a Ballard Mom who loves to explore Ballard with my 3 year old daughter. We love everything about Ballard (okay, maybe not EVERYTHING), but mostly. As a local site, I hope to reach other Ballard moms and give the scoop on all the fun places, events, and things to do in our area. Who knows, maybe meeting other Ballard Moms through here will be fun! Right!? Hope to meet you on the forum!

    What an awesome thing to do! BallardMom.com is a fabulous site.

    My name is Kelly Hughes and my husband and I just moved here last year from the NJ/NYC area. All my husband’s family lives in Ballard and now, so do we. We really like this town.

    I would love to connect with you and the BallardMom site in some way. I would also like to introduce my business, Tangerine Tales. It caters especially for young kids. I do Storytelling-Theatre & Thematic Parties & Events; as well as, Face Painting and Classes for the Arts. Please check out my website: Tangerinetales.com. I am also at the Ballard Farmer’s Market, every Sunday, outside Clover doing face painting. Who knows, maybe we have already met?

    Anyway, I will be holding a special Halloween/Harvest Face Painting Event at Clover, Saturday October 31st. It would be awesome if I could post Tangerinetales.com on your site and also announce our upcoming Halloween Face Painting Event.

    Hi Samantha,

    What a beautiful blog! I’m not a mama (except to a little Jack Russell) but I’ve been in the nanny and doula scene for years and appreciate good, clear, mommy networking.

    I am currently a 2nd year acupuncture student and am trying to get the word out about my classmate and my very family-friendly house cleaning/helping business.

    We do not have a website yet, but our flier is clear and we are easily contacted by email. Is it possible to give a heads up to Ballard moms through your blog? Or do you have any other thoughts?

    I’d love to send you the flier but don’t want to take up all your space pasting it here! Let me know if you’re interested in an email copy.
