  I’d rather set my head on fire than go back to this place. I found the service down right unfriendly and unhelpful – and Gawd help you if you turn up with something to sell but no appointment. Find somewhere else to go unless you like being treated like the doormat.

  What a bummer you received bad service there. They are big and busy, I find that they’re best during the week, and avoid them on weekends when they rarely have enough staff to meet the demands of their customers. They are, however, the best for getting your stuff sold! I tried Childish Playthings and really left wishing I hadn’t wasted my time – to put it nicely.

  I took 3 bags of maternity clothes in to sell. After the alotted time, I went back to pick up the stuff that didn’t sell and collect cash. I walked out with $26, and a couple of items. The better stuff was missing/stolen- which they don’t take any responsibility for. Otherwise most of it had sold, which was great. But, knowing that people go in there to shoplift maternity clothes left me feeling a little bummed out. I haven’t consigned anything else there, since that experience.
